SprintZero Studios

SprintZero is my studio for founders. One operator, me, builds your MVP in one fixed 72-hour sprint, deploys it, and hands over the code, the infrastructure and the keys.

It starts with a 30-minute call. The scope and the price are fixed in writing before anything is paid, and the clock only starts once they are. Most sprints run Friday to Sunday.

A call, a clock, a handover

The clock only starts once the scope is fixed and agreed. Everything inside it is on the ruler.
T+00 to T+72

Before the clock

  1. 30 minThe callYou walk through the idea, or the plan you already have. We work out together whether it fits 72 hours, and what fits if it doesn't. The call is recorded, with your OK, so nothing gets lost.
  2. In writingScope and price, fixedYou get the scope and the price in writing. You pay 50% against an invoice and pick a start slot.

The 72 hours

  1. T+00hClock startsCame with a bare idea? Murmur turns the call into a foundation: a PRD, a brand kit, a tech design and a Jira board. Came with your own plan? The build starts from yours.
  2. T+00–24hFoundationsArchitecture, data model, auth and the deploy pipeline. You get a build link on day one, updated every day after.
  3. T+24–60hBuildThe core flows from the board, built for real rather than mocked, and tested against the paths your users will take.
  4. T+60–72hShipProduction deploy, a last pass on the paths that matter, and a walkthrough recording of everything that shipped.
  5. T+72hHandoverThe repo, the infrastructure and the keys move to you. The second 50% is invoiced on delivery.

After

  1. 30 daysSupportBug fixes and questions on what shipped, for 30 days. New features are quoted separately.
A 72-hour sprint: Foundations from hour 0 to 24, Build from hour 24 to 60, Ship from hour 60 to 72.

A price you can work out yourself

$1,500 to $2,000 per sprint

The scope builder turns the quote into arithmetic. Pick what has to work on day three and it fills the 72 hours; the last 8 always go to shipping. Up to 56 hours on the clock is $1,500, up to 72 is $2,000, and past 72 it is more than one sprint, estimated at about $28 an hour until the call decides.

Revamp round 1 to the consent banner, by commit time

Three rounds over two days. Round 1 wrote a brand kit and rebuilt the site on it. Round 2 added the scope builder, the real work and case pages. It also read too close to this site, with the same palette and the same components, so round 3 threw the look out for a new identity: Riso Press, two spot inks printed flat on paper.

Decisions

Each one from the studio's own site and notes
  1. One label for one action

Every booking button on the studio's site says the same thing: "Book a 30-minute call".

  2. Its own look, not this one

Round 2 read too close to this site: the same palette, the same components. Round 3 replaced it with Riso Press, so the studio doesn't look like a page of my portfolio.

  3. Late costs the studio, not you

If the agreed scope isn't live at T+72 and the scope hasn't changed, work continues at no extra cost and the delivery invoice drops for each day it runs over.

    5% a day

  4. Everything is handed over

The repo, the infrastructure and the keys move to you at handover. Nothing stays hosted on the studio's side.

  5. Analytics that asks first

Visitors on a European time zone choose before any analytics start, and Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control switches analytics off entirely.

  6. Line breaks that can't move

The hero's lines are set by hand, so a late font can't reflow the headline while someone is reading it.
